Itinerary Overview:

Day 1–2: Nairobi – Iconic Wildlife Encounters & Elegant Beginnings

Your Kenyan adventure begins with a warm VIP Meet & Assist service at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. You’ll be transferred to the stylish and tranquil Manzili House, a boutique property set amidst lush gardens in the heart of Nairobi. This intimate retreat blends African elegance with contemporary comfort and features just a handful of beautifully designed rooms or the option to stay in the private Ndoto House, perfect for families or those wanting a more exclusive space.

The following day, enjoy a privately guided half-day tour to two of Nairobi’s most beloved conservation institutions. At the Giraffe Centre, learn about the incredible story of the endangered Rothschild’s giraffe and get up close with these gentle giants. Then, visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the world’s most successful orphan-elephant rescue and rehabilitation centre. Watch baby elephants being fed and playing in the mud, and learn about the pioneering conservation work that has helped raise and rewild hundreds of orphans.

Day 3–4: Loisaba Conservancy – Safari in the Skylands

Fly by light aircraft to the Loisaba Conservancy, a 57,000-acre wilderness perched on a dramatic escarpment in northern Laikipia. Spend two nights at Loisaba Tented Camp, where your luxurious safari tent offers panoramic views stretching to Mount Kenya. The camp’s stylish, open-plan design, infinity pool, and exceptional dining provide a sophisticated contrast to the untamed wilderness around you.

Explore this conservation success story with day and night game drives in custom-built photographic safari vehicles. This region is a stronghold for elephant, lion, Grevy’s zebra, and the elusive African wild dog. Guided bush walks offer an intimate look at the landscape, while camel and horseback safaris deliver a thrilling perspective and rare photographic opportunities. You’ll also have the option to visit local Samburu communities, take part in catch-and-release fishing, or try mountain biking for a more active safari.

Day 5: Loisaba Star Beds – Sleep Beneath the Stars

Tonight, trade canvas for constellations with a magical stay at Loisaba Star Beds. Perched atop a rocky kopje and overlooking a wildlife-rich waterhole, these handcrafted four-poster beds are wheeled out onto raised wooden platforms each night, so you can sleep under the open African sky.

Enjoy drinks by the log fire in the cosy lounge, dine alfresco, and rise at dawn to breathtaking views from your bed with a hot coffee in hand. A team of traditional Samburu and Laikipiak Maasai hosts will make this one of the most unforgettable nights of your journey – a true bucket-list experience in Kenya’s wild north.

Day 6–8: Masai Mara – Great Migration & Golden-Age Luxury

Fly south to the Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most iconic safari destination and home to the Big Five and the Great Migration. Stay at Elewana Sand River Camp, a 1920s-style tented retreat with views over the Sand River and towards the plains of Tanzania.

Go on morning and afternoon game drives in search of lion, cheetah, elephant, and rhino. Experience an awe-inspiring sunrise hot air balloon safari, floating above the savannah followed by a champagne bush breakfast. Between activities, relax by the infinity pool, enjoy sundowners on the open plains, or join an optional visit to a Maasai village or school to gain insight into the local culture and traditions.

Day 9–12: Diani Coast – Indian Ocean Bliss

After one last bush breakfast, fly via Ukunda to the palm-lined shores of the Indian Ocean for four nights of barefoot luxury at Msambweni Beach House. Your private two-bedroom villa includes a 30-metre pool, expansive terrace, and ocean views that stretch for miles along this peaceful stretch of coast.

Spend your days sailing with local fishermen, cycling to hidden mangroves, or simply lounging poolside. A 30-minute massage is included, and other treatments can be arranged by the beach or in-room. Dine on fresh seafood with French and Swahili flair, enjoy beach picnics or candlelit dinners, and take in the slow rhythm of coastal life. For the curious, join a guided village walk or horse ride along the beach.

Day 13: Return Journey – Safari Memories to Last a Lifetime

Depart Msambweni by road and light aircraft, flying back to Nairobi for your international flight home. Whether it was the roar of a lion, the kindness of your hosts, or the colours of a coastal sunset, this East African escape is one your family will remember forever.
